Rev. Lennox Yearwood

Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr. is a minister and activist, who has had a big impact on the Hip Hop political culture. As the Founder and President of the Hip Hop Caucus, his organization was built to utilize the culture of Hip Hop for civic process and empowerment in underserved communities. He also has worked to combat climate change, advocating against the use of fossil fuels. His main goals are to bring awareness to climate issues internationally, introduce diversity within the environmentalist movement, and to make sure everyone can get clean water and air. He started a platform called Think 100% that discusses and educates on environmental injustices and introduces solutions to help fix our climate crisis. His work has impacted many and has gotten recognition from the likes of Obama, who dubbed him a Champion of Change.
