Aletta Brady

Founder and creative director of our climate voices. As an elementary schooler, she was featured on PBS on a young activist segment because she would see how school buses polluted the air. Today she helps to lead Our Climate Voices to encourage climate change through storytelling. She is also a writer and organizer of the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO’s Youth Working Group. She focuses on story telling because facts and figures can often cause people to feel hopeless, whereas storytelling is inspiring and humanizing. She also speaks about the importance of the intersection of LGBTQ and Black liberation, and how they are heavily tied to climate issues.
