In this class students will be using mindfulness to help learn music, and using music to help practice mindfulness. Research shows that music has beneficial effects on the brain. It helps both attention, and mood. Mindful music listening helps reduce stress and connects your body and breath.
Alan, the course instructor, is currently getting his Master’s in music therapy and has been a drum instructor since 2012.
