Clarinet

The clarinet is a family of woodwind instruments. It has a single-reed mouthpiece, a straight, cylindrical tube with an almost cylindrical bore, and a flared bell. The usual range for is clarinet is from D below middle C upward for 3¹/₂ octaves. 

The first clarinet was believed to be invented around the year 1700. The clarinet was invented by Johann Christoph Denner and originates from Germany.
